The next group event will be the traditional Manchester springmeeting, taking
place this year over the weekend May 9-11.

The venue is the Hotel International, as usual, and they are doing a double room for the weekend at £90, which is
pretty good value for a city centre location (true, the tram-line is nearby).

You don't have to stay thereof course but they have always looked after us pretty well. 

We will almost certainly have somewhere to go for group activities in pvt on sat afternoon even if it is the restaurant. Those of us who had lunch there on the sat last time had a very decent roast chicken meal at an extremely reasonable price so bear that in mind if u fancy eating either on fri eve or sat lunch....we should maybe even consider it fora group meal on sat eve, what do people think about that?

The plan this time is fairly loose, i.e. not much in the way of organized activities, tho we may arrange an hour or 2 on sat afternoon.  Suggestions as always very welcome.  Please let us know, so we have some idea of numbers, and in particular if you would be interested in eating there on fri eve, sat lunch or sat eve.
