The demo at the next Birmingham Bizarre Bazaar fetish fair, 20th May 2012, is 'Hypnosis and suggestion'.  The event is held in the Nightgale nightclub in the gay village. The crowd is a mixture of gay and straight. Admission is £5.

If Derren Brown can stick half the population to their sofas, why can't you plaster yourself to a wall? Or be bound without ropes? Or find yourself at the mercy of an invisible knife-wielding poltergeist? This month's demo on Sunday 20th May focuses on hypnosis and suggestion, and how it can be used to enhance the many facets of BDSM.

Rarely used, and often misunderstood, hypnosis has for far too long been restricted to tacky stage acts and sordid gentlemen in capes. Presented by Vestra, this demo will step around the bull often associated with the art, as he gives a no-nonsense illustration of its capabilities and limits, all without the aid of top hats and swinging pocket watches.

The demo will also feature optional audience participation.
