Colin Adamson is giving a comedy hypnosis show as part of the Brighton Festival Fringe.  He is giving only one (!) show on 11 May 2010 - which is a Tuesday (!)  The Venue is "The Brunswick" in Brighton at 8 pm.  Tickets are £6 and it is for over 18s.  He did a lot of shows in Spain so hopefully it will be quite dirty.

If anyone else is interested in staying in Brighton for a few days there are some other interesting shows as well such as the nude male burlesque show and nude comedy stand-up.  I've never heard of Colin Adamson but his website is www.colinadamson.com which has a few clips of his shows.

 

I've decided to attend this show because hypno shows in the South East/London area are quite thin on the ground.  Will be staying in an hotel that night (11th) so if anyone wants to meet up either before, during or after the show let me know and hopefully we can arrange something.  I know a lot of S&M'ers live in Brighton so if some other types want to contact me that would be great.

United Kingdom, Glasgow, Pavilion Theatre

Peter Powers is having his biannual season at the Glasgow Pavilion Theatre during February.  This consists of the Family show at 7.30 pm (Fridays), Adult Show 7.30 pm (Saturday) and midnight madness show 11.59 pm (Saturday).

 

I'll be in Glasgow the weekend of 18 to 20 February and will be seeing both his Saturday shows.  Anyone interested in coming along or having some private hypno please let me know (although it does seem that the subs on this site are only interested in webcam).

 

Description of shows:

Saturday 7.30 pm - 'Anything Goes' A show with a slightly adult theme but with teenagers in mind.  So anything goes in this fun-filled night of entertainment.

Saturday 11.59 pm - 'Midnight Madness Show' - Strictly for the over 18s and has a very Adult theme throughout, and will be even MORE outrageous than usual.  It has been decided that this performance should be called the "Over The Top Show"  Who will bare all in this Midnight Madness Extravaganza?  Strictly for the adult audience only!  All customers will be required to produce identification to gain access.

Despite the aforementioned description the midnight show isn't as raunchy as it used to be and in general tends not to have nudity in it any more.  However, sometimes there can be occasional flashes of its former glory.  Be Warned: the Glaswegians can be a bit of a rough and uncouth crowd, especially when they've been drinking, so be prepared for the occasional fight, bottle throwing and glassing in the auditorium (and that's just the girls).

 

Although the Midnight Madness Show is being advertised as Over 18s they have in the past not admitted anyone under the age of 21 due to large number of violent incidents - if you are between 18 to 21 and want to see the show you'll need to double-check with the venue if you will actually be admitted.

I'm gonna be on holiday in Benidorm from Tuesday 26 April to Monday 2 May and hope to check out some of the comedy hypnosis stage shows.  From my research so far there appear to be at least three different stage hypnotists giving shows in the resort so will try to see them all.

If anyone is also in the area during this time please get in touch and we can make plans to see some of the shows or have some private hypno sessions if you are interested.  

I've heard rumours that stage shows in Spain are a little more OTT than in England so will be interesting to compare notes!

Glasgow 27th August (main meet!)

Glasgow Saturday 27th August 2011. (1 hour drive west of Edinburgh, and edinburgh is 1.5 hour drive east of glasgow, because edinburghs traffic management is worse...!) To coincide with the Peter Powers show a meet is arranged in this city

 

3pm meet at delmonicas a bar in glasgow for socialising.

5pm onwards get some food. note although weatherspoons is marked it gets crowded so likely we will eat somewhere else near there.

7pm the Peter Powers Hypnofest show at the pavilion theatre, also a midnight show for the really keen.

 

Please don't book Peter Powers tickets yet. as they are assigned seats. We will try and book together at a prearranged date. but details on booking available here

Edinburgh 28th August 2011

Repeat of the thursday night schedule - earlier meet planned in dublin bar around 8pm and more people expected for last night of the fringe!

Accomodation

Accomodation is suggested at Herriot Watt uni 4 miles to West of Edinburgh. Buses run every 10 mins in the day and virtually all night (got outside edinburgh waverly station). The 25 route ends at the halls of residence. A room ensuite is around 40 pounds. Its out of the way and quiet.
