In 1997 an amateur group of gay hypnosis enthusiasts set up the Hypnocon meet, in Manchester UK; the aim of the meet was simply to get together, talk about hypnosis and have some fun.

The meets became an annual September event and the community began to grow.

Today there are over 1000 enthusiasts in the UK, and tens of thousands around the world.
Hypnosis as a means of fun and pleasure is certainly growing in popularity as it can be turned to any situation, problem issue or fettish.

Hypnocon is a collaboration of people in the UK with an interest in hypnosis in all its aspects. Our aim is to ensure that hypnosis can be enjoyed by amateurs in a safe environment.

Hypnocon is expanding beyond the Gay community. The hypnocon meets within the M4M and Gay community will continue, but we will now also be providing links to other hypnosis communities and sites.
